OceaNET is an EC FP7 Marie Curie Initial Training Network (ITN). The network is coordinated by WavEC Offshore Renewables and brings together 10 international partners from across Europe and offers thirteen Early Stage Researcher (ESR) positions for 36 months at different host institutions. The primary objective of the OceaNET ITN is to train a new generation of engineers and scientists in the field of floating offshore wind and wave energy to support the emerging offshore renewable energy sector.

In the afternoon, the meeting will go on with:

Section 2) Closing of the Management Committee/ Supervisory Board meeting (30 min)

Section 3) Individual reports from the Early-Stage Researchers, and will include a network lunch and a dinner.

On Tuesday 21st of April, a new training will start for the ESR on 'Experimental & Numerical Modelling of offshore Wind Energy'. A short presentation of this training will be given at the end of this meeting. Also, the next training of this year on 'Experimental & Numerical Modelling of Wave Energy' will be briefly introduced (August 25- Sept 4, 2015).

The programme will be followed by a reception common to all project meetings at the end of the afternoon in the Delta Plaza of Deltares and a dinner in the centre of Delft.
